Our sweet boy just keeps growing bigger and bigger! I am now at the point where I wish I could start shrinking him back to a baby again. Caleb is so fun and full of energy. Some of his favorite toys/activities are his "too too" (motorized train), playing ball, and exploring outside with the pond or in the dirt. He has started to only take one nap a day instead of two and he now has four new teeth to eat with. Up until about a month ago, he still only had the bottom two, but the top four have now come in. I started this post at 15 months, so this needs an update that he now has two molars. He recently experienced his first time in the rain and LOVED it. He splashed and giggled running around. He especially loved standing under the eaves where the rain was pouring down and he broke down into tears once we brought him inside. In the same day, he experienced his first bit of snow. We were having lunch at the Cuyamaca house and it started snowing for about 5 minutes. We ran outside and took some video of him smiling and looking excited. At his 15 month check up he weighed in at 24 pounds (60th percentile), and was in the 85th percentile for his height. The doctor was impressed with how much he could talk and said he looks to be perfectly healthy. He seems to pick up more new words each day and he will try to say anything that you ask him to. His newest words are: hat, "dooo"for dude, yes, no no, uh-oh, "ilk" for milk or yogurt, "me-me-on" watermelon, cheese, "animas" animals, and "dilla" for quesadilla. He loves to point out the "moo" (moon), "tars" (stars) and always lets you know when he sees a "bir" (bird) or a "play" (plane). He also really enjoys giving kisses and hugs, especially to stuffed animals and mama. He likes to watch "mi-e mou" (mickey mouse) and tries to find the "phome" (phone) so he can "talk" or say "hi". He politely asks "pease" (please) when prompted, and he will say "hep" when he needs help. He likes singing, especially "its" (itsy bitsy spider), and will do most of the hand motions while singing along. He also likes saying names that he has learned. He wanders around the house saying "amma", "dada", "mama", and "papa" (grandpa). He truly is just the sweetest little boy. Here are some pictures in no particular order:
