Caleb is one! I have started this post many times, but it has been a busy holiday season and we all recently had the stomach flu (yuck), so updating the blog has been slow. The above picture is from Halloween at Nana's house. Caleb was dressed as Winnie-the-Pooh, the cutest one I've ever seen. :) We visited great-grandparents and grandparents houses and while it was an emotional night at times, it was fun to capture Caleb's first Halloween. Caleb also had a Winnie-the-Pooh themed birthday party.

He was very unsure of all the people singing and taking pictures

It truly was such a wonderful year of firsts with Caleb. He is a sweet boy who can be very determined, which is a great quality as an adult, but can be a difficult one as a toddler. He loves to sing along and dance to music and he has become quite the parrot, mimicking lots of words and animal sounds. His newest animal sound is a horse. He whinnies at horses whenever he sees them. He even did it while holding my debit card and I was totally confused until I looked and saw that my card is Wells Fargo which has horses pulling a stagecoach. He loves books and will bring them and drop them in your lap to read them. When he wants a new one, he will climb down and bring another one or if you ask him to bring one to you, he will do it. He loves riding his horsey, visiting the "bok boks" (chickens), and really loves the computer program starfall, which teaches letter sounds. If you have a computer in your lap, you can bet he will be next to you hoping that starfall is coming. He recently started naming body parts. He loves poking mama and dada's eyes and honking noses. He also loves his belly button. He picks at it and says, "be-ee" for belly. He gives great snuggles, high fives, and blows kisses. Some of his nicknames from mama and dada are "diggle-diggle" (based on his rambling of that phrase when he was 10 months old), "Caleb-boy", "buggy-boo or buggy", "bubs", and "rascal". Rascal is the newest nickname due to his tendency to grab items and run away with them giggling while you chase him down. Such a silly and happy boy.
The cinnamon roll cupcakes look delicious! :)
